Surf Air said it will have 13 planes and up to 90 daily dates by the end of the year. The airline charges $1,750 per month for its membership plans, which allows members to fly as much as they want, and skipping the long lines and security checks of commercial terminals, and instead letting users depart from less crowded airports and private aviation terminals. Ichor Medical Systems Gets $85M From Janssen Pharmaceuticals ---- San Diego-based Ichor Medical Systems, which is working on developing treatments for hepatitis B, said this morning that it will receive up to $85M in an upfront payment, R&D support, and development and sales milestones from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a part of a product development collaboration and worldwide license agreement. The company said the deal, which was facilitated by Johnson & Johnson Innovation, the two will work together to develop and commercialize DNA-based vaccine products for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B. Financial impact of the win was not announced. DTS said its DTS-HD sound technology will be used in the Tmall Box, a new set-top-box operated by the digital entertainment unit of Alibaba Group.
