Disney said that the latest video game includes an updated "Toy Box" mode which mix and matches Star Wars, Disney, Disney-Pixar, and Marvel characters together in the game; new racing and farming simulation games; and more. DIsney said the starter pack for the game includes a Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set piece, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker character figures, and a web code card to unlock content, and costs $64.99. http://www.socaltech.com/disney_launches_infinity_3__edition/s-0061703.html Qualcomm Adds Mobile Malware Detection To Snapdragon ---- San Diego-based Qualcomm announced this morning that it has launched a new, anti-malware technology, embedded into its Snapdragon processors. According to Qualcomm, it has launched a new technology called Qualcomm Snapdragon Smart Protect, which uses on-device machine learning to detect zero-day, malware threats. The company said the feature is aimed at use by OEMs and mobible, anti-malware application providers. The startup incubator--which has location in both San Diego and Irvine--offers up free office space, broadband connections, conference calling, IT services, printing/copying, web hosting, plus a host of other services (HR, accounting, payroll, banking, etc.) through the incubator. The technology incubator's aim is to help increase the success rate of startups in the area--and increase jobs and employment in the industry. EvoNexus says that it currently has 49 companies involved with the incubator. Yuneec--which makes the Typhoon Q500 Quadcopter--runs is sales, marketing, and other operations in Ontario, which is in the Inland Empire just east of Los Angeles.
