Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Optimus EMR has staff in Irvine and Mansfield, Mass. Yardi said the acquisition will help it expand its suite of senior living software. Optimus EMR's software is ued to manage resident care and clinical activities. The company was founded in 2001. The funding was led by Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (GSIP), and also included Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and Highland Capital Partners. GSIP's Ian Friedman joins the company's board with the funding. The company is based in San Francisco, but launched into Los Angeles in July, saying it expected to hire 50 employees here by January. Size of the funding round was not disclosed. The funding came from Cinemark Theatres, Softbank, and overseas investors, along with Quadrant Management. Super League was co-founded by John Miller, the company's Chief Visionary Officer, and is led by Ann Hand, the company's CEO. The company says it already has deals with Cinemark Theatres, Regal Entertainment Group and AMC Theatres, as well as iPic Theaters, to bring a real-life, Minecraft experience at their local movie theatr.
