*Cyber Monday Sales Hit $7.9 Billion*

Cyber Monday sales figures this year are expected to hit $7.9 billion,
according to Adobe, saying that online sales this year are a 19.7 percent
increase year-over-year. The company--which calculated the numbers at 7:00
p.m. ET last night--said that sales on Thanksgiving Day totaled $3.7
billion (up 28 percent year-over-year) and sales on Black Friday were $6.2
billion (up 23.6 percent year-over-year). Adobe said that the full season's

*CalAmp To Supply Fleet Tracking Products To Telefonica In Mexico*

Irvine-based CalAmp says this morning that it has inked a deal with
Telefonica, where it will provide its fleet management and stolen vehicle
recovery products in Mexico. According to CalAmp, the deal will help
telematics service providers and fleet management customers transition from
2G to 3G services in Mexico, with expansion expected later to other Latin

Irvine-based property information provider CoreLogic said today that it has
calculated residential and commercial loss estimates for the recent
catastrophic Camp and Woolsey wildfires in California, saying those losses
are estimated to total between $15 billion and $19 billion. According to
CoreLogic, it estimates between $11 billion and $13 billion in losses due
to the Camp Fire in Paradise, with total losses from Southern California's
Woolsey Fire to be another $4 billion to $6 billion. (More...

Irvine-based FirstElement Fuel, a company developing a network of hydrogen
fuel cell fueling stations, says it entered into an agreement with Air
Liquide, where Air Liquide will invest more than $150M for a new liquid
hydrogen production facility to supply FirstElement Fuel's hydrogen
stations. According to FirstElement Fuel, the $150M investment by Air
Liquide will go toward a long-term supply agreement for its True Zero

Elon Musk, the Los Angeles technology mogul behind SpaceX and Tesla Motors,
says there is 70 percent chance he'll go to Mars--likely, on a one way
ticket. In an interview for HBO, Musk said he expects to "move there",
although he likened the experience to that of Shackleton going to the
Antarctic and struggling to survive. One of Musk's big goals with SpaceX
has been the development of passenger carrying rockets, intended to
