SpaceX has already successfully launched a number of the Iridium satellites into orbit from Vandenberg. SpaceX delayed the launch from Tuesday, due to the storm system coming through Southern California. SpaceX said in its last update that the weather is 60% favorable for the launch on Friday. Smith Micro is paying approximately $9.8M for ISM Connect, split between $4M in cash and $5.8M in Smith Micro common stock. Smith Micro said the acquisition would provide it with a "new growing and profitable" revenue stream. ISM Connect's software will be renamed ViewSpot.
