Carlsbad-based satellite connectivity and equipment provider Viasat
reported a win in Italy today, with Italian airline Neos and its fleet of
new Boeing 787 Dreamliners. According to ViaSat, it will provides its
in-flight connectivity services to the new Neos fleet of Boeing 787
Dreamliner aircraft. Financial details of the win were not announced. Neos

Aliso Viejo, California- and Kfar-Saba, Israel-based CathWorks, a developer
of Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) medical equipment used in percutaneous
coronary intervention, has raised $30M in a Series C funding round, the
company announced late Monday. The funding was led by Deerfield Management.
According to the company, which already has FDA 510(k) clearance for its
medical device, the new funding paves the way for acceleration of its

said on Monday that it has launched a new, mobile and console games
divison, called P.W Games. According to the copany, the new gaming studio
will bring a series of both mobile and console games to market, targeted at

Pocket.watch's exiwsting YouTube creator partners to create its mobile

announced Monday afternoon that it has raised a new, strategic investment,
from private equity investor Insignia Capital Group. Exact size of the

Tesla Motors, the electric car-and-solar panel company led by Elon Musk, is
acquiring San Diego-based technology developer Maxwell Technologies, in a
deal worth approximately $218M, the companies announced on Monday.
ACcording to the two, the merger agreement calls for Tesla to pay $4.75 per
share for all of the outstanding stock of Maxwell Technologies. Maxwell is

announced this morning that it has acquired UK-based Romonet Limited, a

global data center market. Financial details of the acquisition were not

join CBRE as part of the acquisition. Romonet was foundee in 2008, and was
