San Diego-based 5G wireless equipment developer Inseego announced today
that it has named Wendy Caceres as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Caceres was most recently Worldwide Head of Enterprise Marketing for Amazon
Web Services (AWS), and also had served as VP of Marketing at Ayla
Networks, in addition to serving at such companies as Echelon, Global IP
Solutions, Knight Ridder, Personify, Tessera Enterprises and NEC. Inseego

A new company, Apex Innovation Sciences--with headquarters in Long Beach,
California and Marlton, New Jersey--has formed out of a corporate merger of
CNS Network and Hassman Research Insitute, along with the Clinical Trial
Centers Alliance, three companies in the clinical trial studies industry,

*Semtech Rolls Out Reference Design For Indoor LoRa Gateways*

Camarillo-based analog and mixed-signal semiconductor developer Semtech has
rolled out a new reference design for its line of LoRa low power wireless
products, with a design for indoor wireless gateways for its LoRa protocol.

Los Angeles-based Dave, a fintech startup which offers up tools that helps
users track their spending and avoid overdraft fees, has raised $50M more
in a funding round, according to the company. The funding apparently values
Dave at $1 billion. The new funding came from Norwest Venture Partners.
Dave--which is led by co-founder and CEO Jason Wilk--offers up a range of
financial tools which run on the company's platform to help consumers with

Los Angeles-based Knowable, which offers up paid, audio classes on a wide
range of topics, said it launched on Tuesday morning, charging students
$100 per student for access to a wide range of audio course on topics
ranging from launching a startup to sleeping better at night. According to
the startup, it raised $3.75M in a seed funding round for the company,
which was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included Upfront Ventures,

print rockets, has raised $140M in a Series C funding round, the company
announced on Tuesday morning. According to the company, the funding was led

treating cancer, has raised $1.85M in its Series B funding, bringing the
