The new firm, led by serial entrepnd investor Aaron Fyke, said its seed stage fund has had its first close of over $5 million. Fyke previously had been CEO of multiple companies for Idealab, and also was a cleantech investor at Starfish Ventures in Australia. According to Hulu, the new feature--which is available only to subscribers of its "No Ads" plan--let users download offline content for later viewing, and only on iOS--although the company says it hopes to add Android support soon. According to a report from The Verge, the new Sonos Flex program costs 15 euros a month and if successful will be expanded beyond the pilot. It's unclear if Sonos has any plans to try out the subscription rental program in the United States.
