*Smule Connects Into Snap Camera For AR Rap App*

Interactive music creation app developer Smule said this morning that it
has integrated with Venice, California-based Snap, with the Snap Camera.
According to Smule, its hip-hop music app AutoRap now connects directly
into Snap Camera, bringing augmented reality (AR) lens support to its
ecosystem. Smule said it is integrating Lenses through the Snap Camera Kit.
Smule said the connection into Snap allows users of AutoRap the ability to

*iHerb To Invest $100M In Russia*

Pasadena-based online vitamin seller iHerb says it plans to invest $100M in
Russia, as a part of an effort to serve the Russian community. The company
said the investment will include exporting Russian products, partnerships
with Russian logistics companies, expansion of our technology development
center, and the building of robotic fulfillment centers. The company, which
sells vitamins and supplements online, did not say what percentage of its

*American Vanguard Acquires Agrinos*

Newport Beach-based American Vanguard Corporation, a provider of specialty
and agricultural products, announced this morning that it has acquired
Agrinos, a technology product focused on biological crop inputs. Financial
details of the acquisition were not announced. The acquisition came through
American Vanguard's operating subsidiary, AMVAC Chemical Corporation. (

*CoreLogic Shareholder Against Unsolicited Bid*

One of the big shareholders of Irvine-based CoreLogic---Kennedy Enterprises
LP--says it is against the recent unsolicited bid on the provider of real
estate information. Kennedy Enterprises LP, which says it is a top 20
shareholder with approximately 1.3 million shares of CoreLogic, says
CoreLogic is worth "far in excess" of the $66.00 per share in cash bid from
Senator Investment Group LP and Cannae Holdings Inc. A vote on the
unsolicited bid is scheduled for November 17th. (More...

*Math Games Hits 50M Downloads*

Los Angeles-based Math Games, a developer of online games focused on
teaching math, says it has seen its user base skyrocket due to the
pandemic, reporting it has now seen more than 50 million downloads, and now
is being used by over 31 million students across the country. The company,
led by CEO Bill Kara, says is has seen a 200% overall rise in traffic to
the site due to the pandemic, and now sees 85,000 daily active users. (

*Grindr Vulnerability Allowed Takeover With Just Email Address*

A now-fixed security vulnerability on the app of Los Angeles-based Grindr
would allow a hacker to take over control of any of the site's users,
requiring only knowing a user's address. According to a security
researcher, the bug--now fixed--was a result of a "password reset token"
leak issue with Grindr's website. The vulnerability is not the first for
Grindr, which had a widely publicized location information leak last year.

capital fund, BAM Ventures III, L.P.. Lee--best known for co-founding
