The company jumped all the way to $47.72 per share in its first day of trading. Viant is led by technology veteran Tim Vanderhook, who founded Viant with brothers Chris and Russ. Ginsberg was co-founder and CEO of Ixia, which he took to an IPO in 2000. Ixia was eventually acquired by Keysight Technologies for $1.6 billion in 2017. Ginsberg's family said he "peacefully passed away" surrounded by loved ones on January 25th at his home in Malibu.
