Accrding to the company, its new accessories are made out of anywhere from 85 to 99 percent "ocean plastic yarn", plastic which has been made from recovered plastic in the oceans. According to Borrego, it was selected by AES Corporation to engineer and construct the three power plants in Michigan. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
