The new service will cost $500 per month, rather than the $99 per month that SpaceX charges for its normal Internet service. Equipment for the service will cost $2500. SpaceX offers up satellite-based Internet service, which uses thousands of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites to provide Internet service across the globe.
