According to a report from the Washington Post, the outages on Carlsbad, California-based Viasat's satellites began on February 24th, the day Russia invaded Ukraine. The company says that, for the average restaurant on its platform, food sales are about 7% higher than they were in 2019 and 34% higher than 2021, although it did cite issues with labor shortages and rising food costs. Financial details of the investment were not announced. Vertis develops analytics software which helps enterprises visualize and analyze employee and real estate footprint. Alteryx Ventures invests in companies which are complementary to Alteryx and its analytics and data science software. (AOTI), which develops noninvasive, topical oxygen wound healting products, says it has received a "significant round of funding". Size of that funding was not annoucned. The funding came from SWK Holdings Corporation. According to the company, the new funding will go to support its growth plans, and building out their clinical support and commercialization platforms, both in the USA and Internationally. Krevor was most recently serving as President and COO of the company. Krevor previously also served at Lockheed Martin and Sierra Nevada Corporation. Stratolaunch recently shifted its technology towards aerospace testing, away from its original plans for launching satellites from its specially designed plane.
