*Slingshot Aerospace Wins $25.2M From U.S. Space Force*

El Segundo- and Austin-based Slingshot Aerospace has scored a $25.2M
contract from the U.S. Space Force, the company said this week, to develop
a new space training product called Digital Space Twin. According to the
company, it will develop a government version of the product for space

Southern California's high tech industry, said this week that it has named
five new directors to the group's board. The group said it has added Iván
Markman of Yahoo, John Rossant of CoMotion, Ben Savage of Clocktower
Technology Ventures, Renee LaBran and Julie Miller-Phipps of Kaiser
Permanente to its board. The Alliance also said it added Mike Corbo,

retailer *Tuckernuck <https://www.tnuck.com>*. Financial details of the win

San Diego-based pSemi, a semiconductor company which is owned by Murata,
said this week that it has named Tatsuo Bizen as its CEO. Bizen succeeds
interim CEo Takaki Murata. Bizen was most recently at Murata, where he has
been for more than 30 years, having been at Murata since 1985. pSemi is a
provider of semiconductor integration services, and includes what was
Peregine Semiconductor. The unit focuses on high-performance RF, analog and

Marina Del Rey-based Armata Pharmaceuticals, a publicly held biotech
company focused on bacteriophage therapeutics for antibiotic-resistant and
difficult-to-treat bacterial infections, said on Thursday that it has
raised $26.9M in the second tranche a private placement. The company said
the funding came from Innoviva Strategic Opportunities LLC, a wholly-owned

*VivoSense Gets $25M For Wearables*

Newport Beach-based VivoSense, a company using wearable sensors for the
clinical trials market, says it has raised $25M in a Series A funding
round. The roudn came from Debiopharm and the Perceptive Xontogeny Venture
(PXV) Fund. The company said it is developing an informatics platform for
data analysis from wearable and connected technologies. The company is led
by CEO Dudley Tabakin. The company said it will use the funding to expand
