According to Rivian, it is launching Level 3 DC fast charging sites for Rivian drivers, starting with sites in Salida, Colorado; Inkoyern, California; and Bishop, California. Rivian says the charging sites will provide as much as 140 miles of range in 20 minutes of charging. According to the company, the joint mission between the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the United States' National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) will take place out of Newquay Airport in Cornwall, England later this year. The company is hoping to make it the first rocket launch from British soil. According to Rocket Lab, it succesfully launched CAPSTONE, a microwave-oven-sized satellite, into space from its launch complex in New Zealand.
