The company said the grant will support studies to identify biomarkers that can inform novel nutritional, disease-prevention, and disease-treatment interventions. Sapient is using rapid liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (rLC-MS) for its biomarker profiling efforts. Sapient is led by founder and CEO Mo Jain.
