*Rivian Recalls Nearly 13,000 Cars Over Loose Bolt*

Rivian, the electric car maker which has significant operations in Irvine,
recalled nearly 13,000 cars this weekend as a result of a loose bolt in the
firm's vehicles, which could result in a rough ride or steering problems.
The recall notice said potentially 12,212 vehicles in its 2022 R1T and R1S
vehicles may have issues with improperly tightened bolts. Rivian says the
recall was necessary to properly fasten the steering knuckle fasteners in

*Stellar Pizza Snags $16.5M For Robotic Pizza Trucks*

Los Angeles-based *Stellar Pizza <https://www.eatstellarpizza.com>*, which
is developing robotic, pizza delivery trucks--currently being tested at
UCLA--has raised $16.5M in a funding round, the company said last week. The
funding was led by Marcy Venture Partners, the venture capital firm founded
by Jay-Z, and also included Savage x Fenty, the clothing brand run by
Rihanna. Stellar Pizza was founded by three former SpaceX engineers, and is

energy and sustainable advisory services, said today that it has acquired *Alfa
Energy Ltd.*. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.

hardware developer DTS, has spun out as a new independent, public company.
Xperi said it is now trading on the New York Stock Exchange as XPER. The
new company is being led by Ceo Jon Kirchener. The new company owns the
TiVo, DTS, IMAX Enhaned, and HD Radio brands. Xperi said its predecessor
