San Diego-based Debut, which is applying synthetic biology to the fragrance
industry, says it has raised $40M in a Series B funding round. The company
said the funding was led by BOLD, the venture capital fund of L'Oreal.
Debut says it is developing "bio-based formulas" for fragrance brands,
which "can replicate the scent signature and precise characteristics of
natural ingredients, including those that are structurally complex,

Los Angeles- and New York-based private equity investor *Consello Capital*
says it has acquired *ProSearch Strategies*, a "tech-enabled" legal service
provider for enterprise customers. Financial details of the deal were not

employees, and locations in the United States, Ireland, and India, and is

Los Angeles-based charitable fundraising platform Pledge, led by serial
entrepreneur James Citron, says it has hit a $100,000,000 donation
milestone, raised for more than 50,000 nonprofits. The company is backed by

has raised $862.5K in a funding, in a deal with Vinergy Capital. According
to Vinni, it is developing an artificial intelligence powered data and
analytics platform for optimizing healthcare operations. Limmi said that
Vinergy will acquire up to 4 percent of the company's equity for the
funding, plus a license of IP from Limmi for use in Vinergy's Healthcare

digital marketing, says it has enhanced its AI software. According to the
company, it has launched a new product called Signal AI Studio, which it
says allows businesses to create custom AI models, aimed at helping
