Hi,

=>What is the streaming rate of the video?

I have no idea. I am clueless about video streaming. The quality of the stream
has to be such that it can be shown on 21inch to 52 inch tv depending in on
whether they have the money for 52inch tv rentals.

=>
=>You should be able to do this easily for a few hundred $ as long as you have
=>an IP device on each end.

Plan to have 2 p4 computers with 500MB ram each to handle it. The computers
would have wireless cards and the access point would be there.

=>An Access Point, a Client Bridge (or PCMCIA/PCI card), 2 RF cables and
=>perhaps some small 15dbi grid antennas should do the job.

is it easier to build an antenna like that or i am better off buying it?

=>Place the AP t the
=>side of the link where the Internet connection originates. The client bridge
=>(or PCMCIA/PCI card) with the camera end of the wireless link.

Will try that. :) What software do you folks use for live encoding,
transmitting and decoding?

Thank you for the suggestions.

regards
Shiva.
