Frank,

My Toyota Prius has a Killer Bluetooth/Cell/Nav System. It stores 106
records in its internal database. It transfers that many contacts via
Bluetooth to the cars internal dialing directory. If I click on a Point
of Interest in the NAV it gives the number and it gives me that ability
to push the call button to call them. I can also call by voice by saying
dial by name or dial by number.

I sit in my car and it auto-connects. I never even take the phone out of
my pocket. It has speed dial numbers and stores the last 6 calls you
made or received. It also has a Sirius or XM factory kit that is
controlled by the NAV touchscreen. It also has a IPod connector that
allows me to control the IPod from the touchscreen. If I can just get
this thing to play DVD's now and my Ipod videos, I will be rocking :)

Very Sweet.

P.S. Plus I got the stickers to drive in the carpool lane - I am so
stoked to buzz by the traffic!

Subject: [SOCALWUG] Automotive Bluetooth

I went to the LA Auto show last night (http://snipurl.com/moblog)

BMWs have Bluetooth for hands-free cellular.

Are there other manufactureres that have this?

And is hands-free cellular the only function of the automotive
Bluetooth?
