http://www.ez-aim.com/ [ tripod w/Alt-Az controls, easier to setup dish pointing ]
http://www.globalsatsolutions.com [ he's a Motosat dealer, & sells the above tripod. He travels in a motorhome, & can still "do business" since he has a mobile Internet connection! ] I've seen people use the "tripod-method" for satellite-dishes, once you get experience you can do it fairly quickly. I saw a guy in a motorhome out in Pahrump/NV, use a Direcway satellite dish on top of his rig: tripod-mounted. That's the most economical. However, the fold-down-dish mobile-systems (w/auto-search) are way more convenient. I have one by Motosat: find level ground, hit "Search", & in a few minutes you're on-line. It's expensive ($4000), the plans are down to $79/month (DSL download, 144kbps uploads)..last year, they were $99/month (DSL download, 56kbps upload). Here's my mobile-sat setup on my 4x4: http://bitd1000day2.textamerica.com/?r=2840451 [ you can make out the directional WiFi antenna, & there's more hardware I bought from wlanparts.com ]
