Here's the latest video from SOCALWUG <http://www.socalwug.org/> .
In the January 2006 meeting, Frank Keeney and Mike Outmesguine opened the meeting talking about the Suitsat ham radio project, VOIP phones, RFID, the MB-8000 EVDO/Wi-Fi mobile hotspot running the meeting's internet uplink, and more of course! We continue with a brilliant informal talk from author Carl Weisman <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0130354651/socalwug-20> from 5G Wireless Solutions <http://www.5gwireless.com/> chatting about all things wireless and discussing his company's technology and participation in the growing municipal wireless trend. We close out the meeting with Baron Miller from Signalwide <http://www.signalwide.com/> showing us one of their cellular boosters and clarifying how it works to draw in weak cellphone signals.
