Anyway I forgot/never actually had your email. Last week I finally got around to installing openwrt on your access point and found as you had feared that it was wrt54g v5. Meaning it was the newer vxworks based model and I will not be able to install openwrt on it. Isn't it really annoying when a manufacter completely changes the hardware and doesn't change the model number on the outside of the box.
