Got a Linksys USB adapter? Is it WUSB11, WUSB11 ver. 2.5? 2.6? Version 3? Linksys hopped between the Atmel and Prism chipset during its evolution. This site looks helpful in matching up model numbers with chipsets and sourcefiles for the drivers. Getting them installed is another matter! For the record, here's the entry for Linksys WUSB11: 802.11b WUSB11 USB Atmel atmelwlandriver green http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/news.html 802.11b WUSB11 ver. 2.5 USB Prism2/2.5/3 linux-wlan-ng green http://www.linux-wlan.org 802.11b WUSB11 ver. 2.6 USB Atmel at76c503a green http://at76c503a.berlios.de/ 802.11b WUSB11 ver. 3 USB Prism2/2.5/3 linux-wlan-ng green http://www.linux-wlan.org, version 0.2.1-pre22 or higher. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SOCALWUG" group.
