Yup. Works awesome. It's quite funny watching the establishment wonder what
the heck is going on. I turn it off, they turn it on, ad infinitum. It's
usually more fun to watch that what's on TV.

I have a "TeeVee Turner offer" thingy. We keep it for use in restaurants and
waiting rooms that have annoying TV broadcasts on.

This is wireless so it's related, right?

Check out this video of Gizmodo wandering around CES turning off some of the
hundreds of flat screen TVs around the show floor, and during demonstrations.
They used a little gadget called TV-B-Gone (that you can MAKE yourself). The
gadget runs through all the Power-Off IR signals like a universal remote
- offing any TV that it sees. It's quite a nice little social-commentary
device. Beware... it can als be used for eeeeviiilll.
