Yep I'll be in Los Angeles speaking on large scale, enterprise grade WiFI and the backend infrastructure needed to support it. Oh and how one can make some money off of it. :)

Now, he will expand on that topic and perform demonstrations that he was unable to show us in his recent presentations. He plans to provide us with updates on the Los Angeles City WiFi project and OpenSrcLearn.org, and discuss auto provisioning on a client system with Ubuntu, Network Access Control using PacketFence, and DD-WRT on the WRT54GL. He may even throw in some high availability magic as well. NOTE: Please be prompt, as we plan to start at 7 pm SHARP !! PIZZA: We used to have a pizza order-taker. We dont any more. Email Phil Brown if you want to volunteer taking over that duty. UUASC-LA believes no one should go hungry. If you require kosher, please visit http://www.bolthole.com/uuala/pizza_kosher.html . Post meeting activities Even if you eat pizza, you will still have room for dessert, so dont forget our optional gathering at Coco's restaurant in the Manhattan Beach mall, corner of Sepulveda and Marine Ave, for dinner and chatting. (Drive south of the meeting building down Sepulveda, turn left on Marine, and take an immediate left into the shopping area). The chocolate cream pie is a particular point of interest ;-) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SOCALWUG" group.
