im interested finding other people in the community tech scene in LA and make a space for us to hang out, work, gather, teach and generally do our thing. specific projects im interested in are : a socal community colo project ie. http://www.communitycolo.org/ a socal community wireless internet project ie. http://www.personaltelco.net/ i also want to make space for people developing open source and wireless devices my hope is that the more we hang out together the more opprotunities for collaboration we'll see the more effective we'll become the more fun we'll have we're having an open house this coming Saturday March 1. it will probably start around noon. around seven there will be a reading of The Powerhouse written about this building by Ray Bradbury. anyone interested in these or other community tech projects, or who might want to have user group meetings here, or is just curious should stop by. the space is at 660 Venice Blvd. cheers freeman
