that is what I have, and I'm going to try REALLY hard to be at the meeting 
tomorrow [Frank sent the reminders a week early, and, well... lets just say I 
had an opportunity to enjoy the drive]  however I've had some sort of "bug" 
keeping me down for the last couple of days

I'm using kismet_hopper to switch channels -- perhaps that is all you need?

I don't remember the specifics of what I did to make this work [other than 
install SuSE 8.1 instead of 8.0]
