I have that unit and it works great with GPSDrive under Linux.
I've also used it with a mapping program on the Mac and it worked fine.
I tried to use it on my PC, but the included StreetFinder software needs to communicate
on COM ports 1-4; my USB is COM5 on my PC, so I couldn't try the software out.
If you're using a PC, I'd suggest getting the serial port connector version.
