  Thanks for the link!  Also see WarBSD for a similar BSD based project:
http://digiflux.org/warbsd/.  These tools seem to be oriented around
Access Point *discovery*.  I think the idea is to create a bootable CD
that *creates* an access point.  The only thing close that i've seen is
MeshAP:  http://www.locustworld.com/  Also, the LEAF stuff
(http://leaf.sourceforge.net) looks like it could be modified fairly
easily?  Any other suggestions?
