This sounds like a routing issue, not something you need a bridge for. Using 10.1.x.x
and 10.4.x.x with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 on both, they should not be able to
talk without a router of some sort between them.

Hello

I have two subnets (10.4.x.x and 10.1.x.x) with 255.255.0.0 masks.
There is a bridge connection at 10.1.x.x network between 10.1.1.130 and
10.1.1.131. I can ping both ends of the bridge from 10.1.x.x network. My
problem is, I can't ping
bridge's remote end from 10.4.x.x network. I talked with Linksys guys
and they said it isn't possible which I don't think so. I hard code
ip route for 10.1.1.130 by typing:
ip route 10.1.1.130 255.255.255.255 10.1.1.131

What do you think guys?

Thanks.
