The bluetooth headset is transmitting when you talk however the
transmit power level is low. For example, the Jabra Bluetooth headset
transmits at 2.5 milliwatts (mW). A cellphone normally transmits at several
hundred milliwatts. I'd rather have 2.5 mW next to my brain rather than
300 mW.
