More Speakers Added to SCALE 2X 

The Linux Expo of Southern California is a joint effort of the USC, UCLA,
and Simi-Conejo Linux Users Groups, and the USC Computer Science
Department. 

SCALE is proud to announce that these speakers have been added to
the SCALE 2X lecture tracks:

      * Kernel hacker in the IBM Linux Technology Center William Irwin

      * Maintainer for the Linux 2.6 kernel Andrew Morton

      * Co-author of IBM's original strategy papers on Linux Dan Frye

      * LinuxBIOS project Adam Agnew

      * Jeremy White will be giving a talk titled, "The Latest Development in Wine"

      * Paul Usavage will be giving a talk titled, "Use of Linux for weather 
visualization
       and real time range safety systems."

      * Rob Flickenger will be speaking about Linux server hacks 

      * Jim McQuillan will be giving a talk on the Linux Terminal Server Project

      * Robin Rowe will be giving a talk titled, "Linux Movies and CinePaint"

      * Bochs and Plex86 developer Kevin Lawton
        
      * Chris DiBona will be giving a talk titled, "Open Source: The IP
        Canary in the IT Coal Mine"
        
Those looking to purchase SCALE tickets at the discounted LUG rate
should contact their LUG representive (listed below).  Once each
rep has atleast 10 names they will given a promotional code that they
were distribute to the names on their list.  The price for LUG tickets
is $25, this is a full show pass which includes full access to the
exposition floor as well as all the scheduled talks.

SCALE 2X will be November 22nd, 2003 at the Los Angeles Convention
