This is a "WIRELESS USERS GROUP" not a "LAN/WAN EQUIPMENT GROUP". The e-mail I sent was of interest to many wireless users, not a political statement, but thanks for jumping to conclusions. If you'd read the e-mail you would see it has little to do with politics, and more to do people using wireless technology to report news and current affairs. Regardless of what their politics are. If you do a google search perhaps you can find some other list that focuses only on equipment, but as far as I'm aware, this list is for discussion of all kinds of wireless technology, especially wireless technology that relates specifically to people in Southern California, which just so happens to be where this newsworthy event is taking place.
Have a nice day! -sean

Sean,
I get news about wireless LAN/WAN equipment from this mailing list. I am
not interested in political stuff, please dump that stuff some other
place.

SH <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> said... The UFCW STRIKE photoblog is up and running and, after starting in California, the strike has now spread to at least three other states. There is already some discussion among union members on the site and of course, plenty of pictures from the lines.

The core issue is that management is attempting to pass insurance costs onto the employees AND cut benefits. The result of their proposal would force employees into higher co-pay requirements and drastically raise the prices of surgery and other procedures. They are
picketing in front of stores, discouraging customers to go in.
Please spread the word to anyone you know and of course on the web, let me know if you blog this and I will link to it on the side bar.
