Wi-Fi news this past week included an announcement
from D-Link about an upgrade being provided for
their Xtreme G 802.11g wireless network products
to make them "Super G" (108Mbps) compatible.

I didn't know much about Super G, so I did some
reading today.

Atheros is now providing Super G chipsets, and
has offered the technology to the 802.11 task
group for inclusion in a future standard.

But until that point, this "Super G" is a proprietary
technology, requiring both the client and in the
access point to be based on Atheros "Super G"
chips.

Anyway ... just thought I would pass on the links
