Since they share the very same band, I'd be suprised if
they didn't kill the 802.11b.   The cordless phone has
about 4 or 5x the power, and they are often spread
spectrum.

I've heard there is one 802.11b channel that is offfset out
of the phone band, but I'd sugggest getting a 900MHz
phone, or a 5GHz phone.
