We'll be | discussing the new 802.1X security standards, the recent flap about WPA | password vulnerability, and also the new WiMax 802.16 platform that promises | town-sized hotzones as the long-awaited 'third pipe' for last-mile broadband | delivery. The gathering movement toward wi-fi 'roaming' agreements will | also be discussed, and its potential for seamless passage between hotspots | and hotzones offered by many different hosts and providers. | | These are issues that directly impact the end-user's wi-fi computing | experience.
