RF power measurement--
The power output is of a WiFi card low and bird wattmeters don't measure 
low power well.  You need a Hewlett Packard 432a or 435a or 436a type 
meter(s) (expensive) but they all only measure average power.  The wifi 
signal is pulsed so best measurement is a peak power meter (Pacific 
Measurements, etc) or a spectrum anaylyer to look at the peak levels.
