Being a computer sociopath myself, I would just like to know more about why Sean or anyone needs to up on two laptops at once?

Please. The customer is *not* "always right". Perhaps you need to find a provider who *will* let you do what you want, instead of wanting your fringe-end-of-the-usage-model needs to be addressed?
