Which vendors have a mesh network products avialable on the market? Something that will allow clients to connect with their 802.11b,g cards?
I know we have debated the merits of mesh networks on this list. I know there are proprietary mesh protocols in use (and Nokia's failed mesh product). I know Locustworld is available and is popular in Europe. I subscribe to a dozen or so WISP lists and all the talk is all about Canopy, Redline and Trango (Point to Multipoint). Seems like mesh is not gaining acceptance, at least in N. America. The way mesh is covered in the press you'd think it would save the world. But where are the products?
