"The Little Tokyo district of the city of Los Angeles is poised to become a
hotzone. The city is allowing eWAN1 full access to light-poles and rooftops
to install a high-speed Wi-Fi network. The service will be marketed to
end-users (businesses and residents) by the non-profit Little Tokyo Service
Center (LTSC), in conjunction with the Dept. of Water and Power. Pricing has
not been set yet, but they say it will be comparable to broadband like cable
or DSL. -- May 13, 2004 "
