Richochet has been consistently a money-losing company...
YDI is a wireless hardware vendor, not a network operator...
It doesn't add up.... maybe they think they can leverage Richochet's "mobile" network into lots of "Homeland Security"
sales to the government.
The technology uses 900 MHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum
(FHSS) nodes on light poles and a 2.4 GHz backbone. It is not 802-anything compatible.
