While doing tech support for Dlink, I did some research on the 2wire 1000sw. Yes it
does ship with WEP enabled, but at least the early firmware versions, would either
only a wired or a wireless client but not both. It would timeout after 3 minutes,
which is why we got involved. 2wire was not very helpful about discussing the problem
