I am actually going to do the same going to AZ (up to Grand Canyon) but the
problem is I do not have an external PCMCIA card or even a GPS (working on
getting one). I am doing this on the long weekend coming up. I know I could
still do this w/a internal card and no GPS, but I was wandering if anyone
would lone me the proper equipment so I could have a external antenna and a
GPS for mapping the points later on.

Sure.

Netstumbler lets you choose which adapter you want to use.

Folks:

I'd like to War Drive the route to NC beach trip in a week or so.

My new laptop has an embedded WiFi card somewhere in it. I wonder if
it
can be DISABLED in software like Network Connections and a PCCard ,
like Orinoco Gold inserted in the slot and ENABLED for wardriving?

Any ideas?
Anybody try this ?
