We do not have an installfest planned. Though that is a good idea and has
been bandied about.

The best place for help like this is at our regular monthly meetings (we are
meeting Tomorrow night, Thursday!) There is plenty of time after the
meeting presentation to meet up with like minded users and seek advice,
help, etc.

Many meeting attendees have *a lot* of experience and success using wireless
with Linux.

Bring your laptop and get help on the spot! (I'm going to bring mine - dang
BlueZ drivers won't compile.)

Subject: [SOCALWUG] New User Question

I am a new Linux wireless user. I am running RedHat 9.0 with Kismet and
GPSDrive. I am however, having trouble getting these packages configured
correctly. Is it possible that you have an "Installfest" day planned soon
at which I can get some help getting these programs to run ?

Thank You
