The only guy I know who uses that particular T-Mobile plan is Rusty 
Howell, president of the LAPUG (L.A. Palm Users Group). He says it is 
incredibly slow and T-Mobile coverage is poor. He cannot get a signal in 
the office where he works (in the San Fernando Valley, I think).

You didn't say if you are using Verizon's QNC service or the 1XRTT 
service. QNC is, I think about 14.4 k. I use the 1XRTT service and find 
it sustains speeds a bit faster that a 56 k dial up connection.
