I had that problem, too. Also, a lot of times I come up to a decision point
with less than 6 minutes until I need to decide.

So, barring my usual CDMA1xRTT connection on a laptop (that I scandalously
have turned off sometimes) I use Sirius Satellite radio which broadcasts
traffic reports for LA every 3 minutes. Even so, radio tends not to give
details on my EXACT route everytime I drive while a handheld device like
this one: does. Except that it skips the SF valley and Canyon Country. Oh
well.

Subject: RE: [SOCALWUG] Finally! Traffic Guage

The problem I have with the radio (980 and 1070) is that they don't update
fast enough. There really should be a station that only does continous
traffic reporting.

Thanks,
