I use it on my Ti. Quickertek makes great Apple wifi products.

Also take a look at http://www.ibookparts.com/ or do a google for laptop parts. The antenna cable is around $9.00 and you can do it yourself with the right tools.

Why not just use a pcmcia card? Then the antenna will be outside the titanium and will have much better reception!

Hi all,

I have a mac g4 12" powerbook, and the crappy internal
antenna (the string that plugs into the Airport card)
has somehow become so frayed that it's literally
hanging by a thread, and no longer receives a signal.

I took it in to Pasadena's mac store "genius bar" --
more like an idiot buffet. They told me that since
they have to take the whole thing apart, it would cost
me about $610.00 to fix it. I asked if they sell the
antenna part separately, and no, they do not.

So, I'm considering an antenna from quickertek:

Anyone have any background on these?

Thanks either way,

scott
