Reclaim your data and feel the Open Source! Bring your computers and load them with the World's fastest growing desktop operating system. You'll learn the tricks and tips of veteran Linux professionals Clay Claiborne President of Cosmos Engineering and founder of the Linux Users of Los Angeles and Peter Benjamin founder of Webspinners. This event is free of charge. Please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, and tell us you'll be coming, and what you want to get working. If you are bringing a computer, be sure to bring a monitor and keyboard, and make sure your floppy and CD-ROM are in working order. Although the installfest is for Linux we will also try to help out with BSD versions of Unix. For updated information about the installfest please visit http://installfest.lpbn.org <http://installfest.lpbn.org/>

For information on the Revolution Media event check out http://rm2.lpbn.org

Near the end of the install fest we will have some wireless presentations:

Mike Outmesguine, President of TransStellar <http://transtellar.com>, co-founder of the SoCal Wireless Users Group and author of WiFi Toys will show us some of the fun things happening in the world of wireless technologies.

85% of the home wireless networks are installed out of the box. If you have a wireless computer network at your home or office and
have gone through the security recommendations found in the manual but still wonder why the Internet data transfer light flickers while
your computer is idle, then you'll not want to miss our wireless presentation by Dr. Bao C. Ha President of HaCom.net <http://hacom.net>.
