This is standard operating procedure at nearly every business. I have only
once in my 15 years of working in technology even seen anyone make an
effort to encrypt an email during the normal course of business. I have
been GPG signing my messages and putting the little blurb in my signature
hoping to raise awareness for a couple of years now but nobody seems to
give a toss. I have never once had an inquiry about it asking how they too
can sign or encrypt their emails. All I get is the occasional Outlook user
telling me my email is broken because they can't read it.
